DSPN Welcomes New BOD Member

Julie Strenn has worked in long term care for the past 25 years. She has worked for DHS and understands the federal and state requirements and waiver programs. She also worked for a managed care organization (CCCW, now Inclusa) as a provider network director and understands the world of codes, contracting, and creative/flexible approaches that can be explored. In the last seven years, Julie owned and operated a consulting company, LinkEd LLC, where she provided creative solutions to over 40 different funders, state agencies, and providers in four different states. She developed and implemented a number of different outcome-based payment models. Julie is now working for ODC and will transition into President role in January 2021 with the retirement of Pam Ross. She is excited to support the continued growth of Opportunity Development Centers, in the exploration of how to assist individuals to have the best life possible living and working as independently as they can in their communities. Julie is looking forward to work with the board and DSPN staff to brainstorm how to support the movement of independent living and community employment.
